Air Duct and Dryer Vent Services

Over several years the Environmental Protection Agency has ranked indoor air pollution as one of the top 5 environmental risks to public health. Dirt and dust, dust mites, pet hair and dander, and rodent feces are just a few things that can be inside your air ducts and circulating through your home in the air you breathe. If you have young children, asthma and/or allergy sufferers or elderly family members inside your home, clean indoor air should be a top concern! 87% of American homeowners are not aware that pollution may be worse inside their homes than outdoors. Are you part of that percentage?

We offer a multi-step service for cleaning your air ducts. This process improves indoor air quality in your home. It is recommended that all ducts and returns be cleaned at the same time, since allergens and pollutants from vents that are not cleaned can re-contaminate vents that are cleaned. Our Air Duct Cleaning Process

Each Vent Cover will be removed, cleaned, and sanitized.

Each duct will be cleaned using a special brush attached to our Rotobrush Beast vacuum unit. The brush will rotate through the entire duct, brushing any loose dust or debris, which is then extracted out and into the machine.

Each return is cleaned by brushing all loose dust and debris, which is then extracted out and into the machine.

Following the cleaning of all ducts and returns, the complete system will be sanitized using an environmentally safe fogging agent.

All vent covers will be replaced upon completion of the cleaning and sanitation steps.

Dryer Vent

Regular cleaning of your dryer vent increases your family’s safety, while saving energy and increasing the efficiency of your dryer. Did you know that many residential fires are caused by clogged dryer vents? Lint is one of the most flammable things in your home! With estimates of 15,500 US home fires being contributed to dirty dryer vents, it is more important than ever to get your dryer vent inspected and serviced!

Just like your air ducts, you can’t see inside your dryer vent! Using our video inspection camera we are able to show you all of the dirt and lint that stays inside your dryer and vent once you have completed your laundry and cleared the lint trap. Lint will build up in the dryer, transition duct, and exhaust duct which can reduce airflow and create a dangerous situation which can lead to overheating and dryer inefficiencies, and in some cases, fires. When moisture cannot escape it will invite mold and bacteria build up as well.

Signs your dryer vent may be clogged:

  • It takes anywhere from 2-4 cycles to dry 1 load of laundry
  • The outside of your dryer is hot to touch and your clothes are damp and hot at the end of the cycle
  • You notice a burning smell
  • The vent hood flap outside doesn’t open properly when dryer is running
  • Your home is older than 4 years old or hasn’t been inspected regularly
